As a nearly life-long Abba fan I’m having some trouble getting behind this movie. Despite the fact that the entire group made an appearance at the premiere (they’re presumably making a great deal of money off of it) I still don’t have any interest in watching Meryll Streep and Pierce Brosnan sing some of my favorite songs. I know this show has been on Broadway for a while, and call me a pessimist, but I still have no desire to sit through it, even if it is 95 and humid outside. Maybe it’s just the Swedish in me?
