Keep fire station at Providence Street

I have been a lifelong resident of Vernon Hill, and I find the idea of closing the Providence Street Fire Station absurd. One year ago, we had a fire at our three-family home, and it was the men from the Providence Street station that were the first to arrive. If it was not for their quick action and courageous effort, everything that our families have worked for would have been lost.
