It’s not speculation if it’s a sure thing: Wall Street has been bidding up the price of oil futures for a while, as they speculate on how much oil we’ll use in future months. Most of us must use about the same amount of fuel every month, with small variations. We can only turn down the thermostat and minimize mileage to a point.
