The Boston Red Sox, whatever their successes or failures on the field in recent years, have never lacked for first-class marketing and promotion ideas. Thus was born the concept of Red Sox Nation, a country within a country made up of red-blooded, red-shirted fans bent on seeing the World Series every fall making a stop or two at Fenway Park.
