I’m looking for work. Avoid me. Whenever I’m looking for work I talk about little else, and so I am twice as boring as I usually am (some of my students might not think this possible).
In some circles this is called networking; I call it boorish, but the net effect is the same: I get the word out at the expense of actual conversation. Oh, well.
So if you know of anyone that is looking for a bright, cheerful, slightly-odd social studies teacher, drop us a line and I’ll send a package of goodies right over.
