The Problem with Education Today…
A recent bookindicates that prognostication by pundits and experts is about as accurate as dart-throwing monkeys at indicating what’s really going to happen in a particular field of public life. The more expert you are, it seems, the more likely you are to choose alternatives that are more detailed, and therefore LESS likely to happen. Apparently pundits get sucked in (like the rest of us) by those telling details that make for a good story. This is true of those who hold forth on the state of American public education.
